Pathetic Customer Service
I wanted to see if I wanted this on the web or a printed version, so I signed up for 1 month to check it out. I decided on the printed version, which includes the iPad one. In the app it has a cancellation policy which states that it can only be done through their "submit a question" or by phone. I called their customer service and complained that it should not be this difficult to cancel, because you need a customer number. The number is located in the app under account information after you sign in. I explained I wanted to cancel my iPad subscription and he says I need to "submit a question" to cancel. So, I sent the required information, but then Im charged again. So, I called customer service three times and get a recording about their hours of operation and to leave a message. Im not happy and figured I could stop the subscription through iTunes, which is how it was supposed to be done in the fist place. What a joke, youd think that a journal like Nature would have customer service that was service oriented.
